For the first time ever, my family joined in on the Elf on the Shelf tradition. We started out by heading to Target, where my daughter insisted on me digging through box after box until I found a girl. And this is our month. Sometimes, she didn't move because the kids were good and there was nothing to report to Santa.

This is how she said good-bye... Christmas morning I got a phone call from my daughter telling me she couldn't get out of her room, it was the funniest phone call I have ever gotten :)
