Love/Hate #4

Welcome once again to all Noels Beautiful Life readers. It's that time of week again, time for Love it/Hate it, where I tell you something I love and then something I hate about the same thing. So here goes.

I LOVE the rain.  Let me clarify, I love it when the Earth is thirsty or at night to sleep better.
I HATE when it pours and I have to go somewhere.  Or worse, when I leave the house not knowing it's going to pour in flip-flops.  Why do I hate that so much?  Nothing worse than falling on your knee outside of Wal-Mart in the pouring rain when your husband works there, so everybody knows you.

I LOVE my camera and taking pictures.
I HATE that my DSLR is SO big.  I just don't like most pictures that the smaller more convenient digital cameras take.  If you aren't moving they are fine.

I LOVE that my beautiful daughter is growing up.
I HATE that my beautiful daughter is growing up.  Yeah, it says the same thing.  I gave my parents "boy problems" and I was no where hear as pretty as I think my daughter is.  I know my heart will break when her's does, but I'm kind of glad I'm the mom and not her daddy.  Her daddy already says he needs to get a gun.

I LOVE cooking.
I HATE cleaning up.  I have told my family, I would cook five meals a day if I didn't have to do the dishes.  Kind of funny that my husband now has our daughter on "dishwasher duty."

I LOVE that my little man is communicating.
I HATE that there are still a few things he can't get me to understand.  Toddlers can't exactly learn the whole alphabet of sign language over night, nor can they learn it all in twice a week therapy sessions when they have only been going about a month and a half.  He's doing great, but sometimes I have no clue what he wants, but he tries his best to get me to understand.  His new love, "ogs" frogs.

  1. Oh, boy troubles... hopefully I can avoid the worst of those for a few more sweet years. Good luck, Mama!

  2. I have a love/hate relationship with rain too...love watching it outside of my window, hate going somewhere with it!

Just found your blog via the Wednesday Blog Hop and am your newest follower :) Love the quote you have on the side of your blog..."You have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince." So true!

    1. We haven't had rain in about a month and now it has rained three days in a row. Of course it's way better than the 102 degree heat we had, but it makes it hard to go anywhere. I'm now following you back.

  4. Your daughter is so beautiful. Ha ha ha, about her Daddy needing a shot gun. And that's a great system about the cooking no cleaning. Does it happen? If so I think I will have to steal it from ya!

    1. Well, it definitely helps. She has been loading and unloading the dishwasher, the only problem was, her daddy forgot to show her where everything goes, so now I spend time looking for dishes to use to cook. lol

  5. Hi I am a already a follower and just passing by from the Love/Hate linkup. I really enjoy this post and agree with the fear of your little girl growing up. I did give my mother lots of trouble and hope my little one does not follow in my foot steps. :)
At least I know what to expect :)
    Have a good day.
