The reason I thought to video it was he was walking around making his sister's baby doll wave and actually saying "Hi." I then ask him how to say please and he signed "please," by rubbing his chest in a circular motion. When I ask him how to say "more" he took his dolls back from me, I'm guessing that was his way of saying "more dolls." He's doing remarkably well. I'm going to try to get more videos of his progress with his sign language. Until then, enjoy.

Adventures with Alex - AJ Says "Hi"
For my new followers that may not be familiar with my son and what's going on with him, you can read about it here and another story here. He has come quite a long way from not speaking at all. Here is a short little video of him on our back porch yesterday.

Alright AJ! That was too cute! How is the sign language working for him? I have a nephew that is 2 1/2 and only speeks a few words, maybe 10 at the most. I am amazed that the dr has not recommended speech therapy. I will have to recommend my sister check out your story. I am now following, and found via 'Flock Together Blog Hop'. If you would like to visit me you can do so at http://thebargaingame.blogspot.com/

Thanks! I'm not sure if it's working better for me or him, lol... things are so peaceful at my house now, he use to throw a lot of fits because we couldn't understand what he wanted. He has been in speech therapy for only two weeks and can sign, "more", "drink", "eat", "please", "all done" and is currently working on "help." It's really amazing how sign language can change everything. Have her mention it to her doctor, it has been a lifesaver! I'm following you back, thank's for visiting!
