Possessions, We All Have Them
Welcome to all the Mom 2 Memphis and Ruby readers. Today's Tuesday 10 is my 10 favorite Possessions and why.

1. My Wedding Rings
My husband gives me a symbol of his live everyday, a smile, a hug, a kiss, but these rings show the world I'm in love and committed. No matter if we won the lottery one day, I would never "upgrade" to a million dollar set, because these are top of the line, these are the ones I got married with.

School's Out For Summer

1st Day of 4th Grade |
We started off the year kind of rocky. Not realizing how important Accelerated Reader "AR" Book points were, she just didn't read them. Bringing home a shocking 76 on her first report card in Reading. I was horrified to see this, since she's never even made a B. She and I both learned our lesson and got her back on the right track.

Excitement with Ellyssa - 4th Grade Awards' Day
Today was the beginning of the end of 4th grade. My incredibly nice friend kept AJ so we could go see the Awards Program in peace and quiet. Everyone knows I love AJ, but anyone that knows AJ knows that he can't sit still and if he can't get down, he will let the world know with his lungs. My mom took off work and came too.

Soundtrack to My Life
Welcome to all the Mom 2 Memphis and Ruby readers. Today's Tuesday 10 is my 10 favorite songs and why.
1. Blake Shelton - God Gave Me You
This is my ringtone for my husband and
I couldn't think of any better way to say what he is to me.
My husband was put in my life for so many reasons
And we complete each other.

4th Grade Goes to Gattman Park
As fourth grade is coming to a close, I began to think about fifth grade and the on coming of middle school. I try so hard not to realize my daughter is growing up. She's been going on 25 in her maturity level for years, but I would love to keep her ten forever, but the fact is I can't. So, I will embrace the end of the year as a beginning to our summer together.

Some Babies Don't Grow Up
In an attempt to finally get rid of Alex's "baby stuff" we are cleaning and moving stuff around. AJ is officially 21 months old today and no longer needs his "baby stuff."
It was easiest for my husband to slide AJ's swing under the kitchen table like it is a chair than to have it sticking out and taking up space. Alex hasn't been in his swing since he was about 13 or 14 months old, so it's definitely a time to get rid of it. Alex got really quiet a few moments ago so I started searching for him and guess where I found him...

15 Minutes of Fame
Well, I had my fifteen minutes of fame, ok so it was more like fifteen seconds, but it still counts to me. It all started when I saw Marie Waxell pull up to the school in the WAFF 48 News vehicle. I saw her back hatch open, but never saw which way she went. My first thought was she was doing a story on McBride's principal, Dr. Lindsey, or Coach Lindsey as I know him, and him becoming the new principal of the high school next year. Well, as everyone knows, I'm nosy and I just wanted to know.

Struggling With Labels
I don't generally like labels, especially the ones where society tells us what to think. Like she's "overweight" that means she's lazy. Or she wears Gucci, so she has money, and he wears Faded Glory from Wal-Mart so he must be poor. When the truth is, I actually know someone with six figures in the bank that prefers Faded Glory because he doesn't want people to know what's in his account. Or the woman who goes to the second hand store, but will only get "name brand" because her children and friends can't know she doesn't have the "name brand bank account."
For years labels have meant nothing to me. And then my child received a label.

I'm Tricia from North Alabama
Welcome to Kelly's Korner readers. This week's topic is about making new friends and telling about yourself. Feel free to follow my blog and comment on any posts and just stay awhile. It's kind of hard to even start when I'm telling about myself. I'm a country girl living in a small city. I'm a wife and a mom. I'm a Christian.
