Excitement with Ellyssa - Thanksgiving lunch at school

Today was going to be a sweet special day for Lyssa.  Today the parents of the 3rd graders got to come eat lunch with them.  Of course I got Lil Man dressed and we were both excited.  So much so that I completely forgot my camera, and that doesn't happen often.  So, basically the pictures I took were of her things hanging on the wall in the hall of the school.  Her teacher did get a picture of all three of us and I hope to get a copy at the end of the year.

We had ham or Turkey and dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, chocolate cake, milk, and a wheat roll.  So, of course Lyssa's plate and my plate matched; ham, mashed potatoes, wheat roll, and chocolate cake.
Game; Turkey Toes
Objective; read the story and look at the toes and find your child's toes.

Disguise the turkey so no one would want to eat him for Thanksgiving

The Honor Roll, this is on a large board in the hall
This is what happened when I asked him if he "was ready to go see Sissie"
